Mushroom Pasta with WoW!

Experience a delicious and creamy pasta dish with mushrooms and WoW! This dish combines the rich flavors of mushrooms and onions with a creamy WoW! sauce.


  • 250 g pasta
  • ½ cup “AMA Mad Lavning” (4% or 7% fat)
  • 150 g mushrooms
  • 1 onion or 4 spring onions
  • 1 ½ tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp white wine or white wine vinegar
  • 2 dl vegetable broth
  • 200 g Wow-Mozzarella-alternative or Wow-Cheddar-alternative
  • Oil for frying
  • Thicken with Maizena mixed in water if necessary


  1. Preheat the oven to 180-190°C.
  2. Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the package until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. Prepare the vegetables. Clean the mushrooms and cut them into half slices. Finely chop the onion (or spring onions).
  4. Heat a little oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until they are soft and have released their moisture.
  5. Add the soy sauce and white wine (or white wine vinegar) to the pan. Pour in the vegetable broth and bring to a boil. Stir in the “AMA Mad Lavning” and let the sauce simmer. If the sauce is too thin, it can be thickened by adding a mixture of cornstarch and water.
  6. Mix the cooked pasta with the mushroom sauce. Stir in the grated WoW Mozzarella alternative or WoW Cheddar alternative until well combined.
  7. Transfer the pasta mixture to an ovenproof dish. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the top is golden and the dish is heated through.
  8. Serve the dish hot, possibly with a salad on the side.
