Lentil meatballs with WoW!

This recipe for lentil patties is a delicious and nutritious vegetarian dish. The innovative WoW-Cheddar alternative gives the patties a rich and creamy texture, similar to that of cheese.   • 100 g red lentils
  • 2 tsp psyllium husks
  • 1 large onion
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 100 g WoW-Cheddar alternative
  • 100 g grated squash
  • ½ tsp finely chopped thyme
  • 1 handful parsley (chopped)
  • 100-150 g breadcrumbs to bind the dough
  • Salt and pepper
  • Oil for frying


  1. Cook the red lentils for 10 minutes and drain the water.
  2. Place all the vegetables and half of the breadcrumbs in a food processor along with the WoW-Cheddar alternative, herbs, salt, and pepper. Blend everything into a uniform mixture and season to taste. If necessary, bind the dough with additional breadcrumbs.
  3. Form the mixture into patties and fry in oil until they are golden brown.
  4. They can be served on bread, in sliders, or as a main course with fresh greens.
